The Creekside Chalets are a gem. We found this place to be an amazing value which included personal hot tub, quiet grounds, a full kitchen, comfy memory foam beds, quiet ceiling fans. so many thoughtful touches such as LED lights, the artwork which we loved, the huge supply of towels, the gas fireplaces and vaulted ceilings. Would recommend 10/10.

Beautiful and clean cabins with all the amenities to make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable. Love that our dogs are welcome as well. Owners provide great information on things to do in the area. We will stay here again and again.

Great place to be for a extended stay. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Nice to get away from work and the Las Vegas heat to the higher elevations in the mountains. Great to just sit on the porch and listen to the water in the creek. Will definitely be back in 2025.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night camping experience along the flowing creek. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful under the aspens. The campsites can't get better. They are very private and quite large, enough for your camper with additional tent sites if you wanted. Each one had nice seating areas on the creek, private from the adjacent sites. Just be aware that there is one portable toilet, although it was clean, and no showers so plan otherwise. The Wi-Fi, electricity, and rentable cast iron fireplace made it feel like glamping. There's also a nice playground and cornhole area. The owner was kind and sincere. We definitely plan on returning.

What a gem!! We stayed in Mt Yale for two nights, Aug 10 and 11. The property is so perfectly maintained and beautiful. Soaring Aspens, lush grounds, the sound of the creek, a private front deck with adirondack chairs and table. And Pepper dog friendly. Wonderful! Our chalet was super clean, spacious and cozy. We got to watch the closing night of Olympics on a big screen TV. The king size bed was sooo comfortable. The private hot tub is awesome...clean and surrounded by a privacy fence. Proximity to Salida was perfect. The welcome book with all sorts of suggestions is the best I've ever seen in dozens of rentals. Don't hesitate to stay here. A few haters have picked at things that have nothing to do with the property or chalets. And finally, the price is a bargain!

My reviews are my honest opinions... Posting immature, abusive responses or hate filled ramblings anytime someone doesn't leave a 5 star review lacks professionalism and self control.. Very childish.. Grow up!

Has the feel of your rich aunt's house to me. You know how you're afraid to touch anything or sit anywhere? Signs posted throughout the place reminding you that you will be charged fifty bucks an hour for anything they see fit to charge you for make it even more uncomfortable than being at the aforementioned relatives house.. I was afraid to sit on the couch or even use the toilet... No kidding.. Can you imagine bringing your kids here? On checkout day mom kicks everyone out at 7am so she can spend three hours cleaning only to find an added charge because a chip was found under the couch.. Furnishings were nice but the signs posted on every wall were excessive, plus it's right off a busy highway which I found no mention of, so morning coffee on the patio can be a bit loud or not relaxing... Ok location for exploring the area but an actual hotel saves hours of cleaning & reduces the stress of extra charges appearing on your card at a later date, plus you'll be able to actually relax while sitting on the furniture or using the toilet..

The property is so beautiful and well-maintained -- it's obvious that the owners care a lot about it. Our chalet was exactly as pictured on the website and clean. It was nice to have some playground equipment for our young kids and the benches and chairs along the creek made for nice spots to sit. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's SO hard to get a hold of anyone if you call. After booking our stay I called a few times with Qs and never-not-a-one-time did anyone ever answer the phone. It always went to Voicemail. I left a few messages but they were non-urgent and my calls were never returned. So that's a bummer...

Aside from the lack of phone-answering, it's a great property and we hope to come back every summer!

This is a go to spot for my wife and I. We recently booked out three cabins for her extended family, our dogs, and us.

We have never had a bad experience, the grounds are gorgeous, clean, and every staff member is responsive and friendly.

The creek side chalets will continue to be our go to spot for mountain vacations!
