So much to know from this center. I will suggest to go there first when youge5 to Breckenridge. It save you a lot of time and you will find a restroom too.

The welcome center is like a mini museum that is worth checking out! Not only can you come in and ask questions but you can look around to what you can possibly encounter while in the city. From wild animals to wild eats around town. The restrooms in the welcome center facility are also a great quick stop to freshen up while walking around town. It’s located perfectly near a kids park and the city river you can dip in while you picnic with the family!

Helpful staff, free tree hugger stickers that day "Breckenridge", museum that covers a little Ute history, gold mining history, ski resort history. Bathrooms are downstairs, water bottle filling station inside. The building is located in an area that has okay structures and the river that kids play in. People can sit on benches. Musicians and magic people show off their skills right outside the door.

Excellent historical displays are open to all. It is an great place to get local information, and Breckenridge History offers both free and paid tours.

Very nice and informative museum with ooen-air observation decks! Plenty of vignettes to read and explore, a hands-on kids area, and a theater. The bathrooms in the facility were downstairs and not clean at all. Otherwise, helpful staff and worth a visit.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very quaint and lovely welcome center and museum... giving a good glimpse of the early days of Breckenridge. I truly enjoyed the museum and the views from the balcony upstairs was beautiful in the winter. Thank you!

Staff was friendly and very helpful in any regard! We absolutely loved Breckenridge! Such a lovely and beautiful city! Yeah boy be prepared for a couple of tough nights cause of the elevation you are at! City is just amazing otherwise!
