Stay away from Lake Thunderbird. Been going here for 20+years. The new parking at Clear Bay boat ramp is the most piss poor design and a complete waste of funds I have ever seen. The camp grounds have not been maintained. Over grown grass, trash cans over flowing, mud covering the rv pads and nothing being done about it. Rv camp spots cost more than any park in the State and most don't even have full hookups. Dump stations notorious for not working and park restrooms not cleaned or maintained. Ohh don't forget you must pay to park. Where is that money going ? The park was taken care of a lot better before the parking frees started. The park office, park rangers, park management and local news stations have been notified by many people only for it to fall on deaf ears. Only thing anyone seems to care about is a cow that is often seen on the shore line of the lake and recently made it on the news. I had talks with park rangers at one point and was simply told "if I don't like it find another lake"

Terrible management of Oklahoma's public lands. Everyone that is in charge is hired politically or bc they are a friend and have zero knowledge in the field. Spend your money in Arkansas, Missouri or Texas. You'll see the difference. Oklahoma has so much potential but nothing happens bc every four years they take one step forward and two steps back bc people that have a passion for Oklahoma's special places are not involved.........

I traveled through Oklahoma and unknowingly got billed for a turnpike. I had several late fees accumulated and was sent to collections because I was never notified of the existing bill by Oklahoma's Turnpike. I will never willingly travel to the state of Oklahoma again. This is feedback for tourism.

So sorry you have made the choice to cancel Discover Oklahoma. One of your best promotions you had, and was available for everyone to watch and enjoy. How do you expect people to know about special events and places in Oklahoma?

Over the last 6 months I have spoken to three employees at the administrative office about an issue on OTRD property affecting my property, which the local rangers refused to do anything about. Each one said to send an email. I did, complete with evidence, gave them plenty of time to check it out and respond, but not one of them has.

First, if you can get someone to answer the phone they send you to a number that states they are currently closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. It is April 8, 2021, long holidays for government workers, I guess. My question is why it is more difficult to go to a State Park than it is to vote. You need Drivers License, DD-214 if you're a veteran, your vehicle tag number, a copy of your vehicle registration. But you cannot contact a person to explain the extra requirements NOT listed on their outdated website.

So they closed Swaddle’s. God I hope Oklahoma ends up with nothing but McDonalds even that is better than this state deserves!!
