We had such a good time going rafting in the Merced river! Carson was an amazing pilot, he was very informative, fun and we felt really safe in his company, he made this experience incredible for us. I would 100% recommend rafting at Zephyr, everything was perfect from the beginning to the end!

Our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids - 13, 11 and 9) all had a BLAST! We have done rafting in three other locations previously to this trip and we all agreed this river gives you just the right amount of rapids and time to take in the scenery. The staff were friendly and made the trip down the river even more enjoyable. Shout out to Danny who put up with all our screaming, screeching and laughter for all 11 miles. Ned's Gulch (more like bathtub) was our favorite rapid of the trip! Highly recommend and would definitely come back for more should we be in the area again.

I never had been white water rafting before so I was a little nervous/excited for my first adventure! Ashton was an amazing guide & made our experience so much more fun!!! I highly recommend Zephyr for your white water rafting adventures! The Merced is quite the beauty and filled with history. Thanks for everything!

My family and I participated in the half-day Merced whitewater rafting experience at the end of May and had the most memorable time. While the safety talk was eye-opening and a little frightening (this has probably more to do with my mom brain being activated than anything else), the experience on the water was so enjoyable because of the knowledgeable guide (Skyler). Our guide walked us through each rapid and made something challenging feel very manageable. Overall, great prep and care by the staff at Zephry. Highly recommend. (Photos are extra but so worth it!)

What an amazing experience! I have been white water rafting a bunch of times, but this was the first white water rafting experience for my 10 year old daughter, Madeline. She was nervous, but excited. Jackson (the guide) was awesome and put us in some fun rapids! He was super knowledgeable about the history of Yosemite and really personable. At the end of the trip my daughter asked, “when can we do that again!!”

I spent my 65th birthday with Zephyr for a last minute trip. They accommodated me with a 2 day notice and treated me like a queen. Carl was great and obviously knows his stuff. He was perfection at putting us in the right spot for the most water. I'm hoping to come back with my grandson for a lower river trip to get him hooked!

10000 best time ever! I want to go again so bad. Nate was an awesome tour guide - super funny and engaged. Knows his stuff! And also kept us alive, hehe. Highly recommend rafting the Merced River.
