Stayed there recently in a two room suite. The staff were friendly and the place was immaculate. One of the pools was under renovations but the other one was available and a decent size. A previous review stated that the working pool could only fit 10 people which is a bald-faced lie, unless by people they meant elephants. It was a decent size pool. Overall, this hotel is great and highly recommended. It’s within easy walking distance to a number of marinas as well as dozens of shops and restaurants. I hope to return soon.

Stayed here for my son's wedding. Stayed in a two-level, two-bedroom suite. The large living room was perfect for the groomsmen to get ready. The room was a bit worn, but it seems Wyndham is in the process of updating the hotel. The pool was nice. It was also boat week, and the location couldn’t be beat. Highly recommend

Great resort... very comfortable and walkable to Newport Center and also Goat Island! They are doing some renovations so a few areas were out of commission... but those should be finished up soon. Large rooms... great views from a few select units. Clean! Staff is very helpful.

Really nice place with an awesome location. They are in the process of restoration and have a construction going on in the pool and Jacuzzi. So it is a little noisy during the day, but other than that it's a good place to stay especially with two kids if you get a two bedroom suite.
They have Free coffee in the lobby during morning hours, but it is awful and I hope that they read my review and address that issue.

The location of the Wyndham Long Wharf time share can’t be beat. It’s a perfect place to have a girls’ weekend because everything was within walking distance (except the famous Cliff Walk and Newport’s famous mansions-that’s just a quick Uber ride away). Being by the harbor offered great options for food, drinks, and even dancing. The only issue with the property was that the outdoor pool is still being renovated. The smaller pool and fire pit were available though which helped. Even though I was there with girlfriends, this would have been a great spot for families. They offer movies for kids, arts and crafts activities and even bbqs by the pool. I’d definitely stay there again!

Perfect location for exploring Newport, RI, and surrounding areas. Very comfortable suites with fully equipped kitchen. Friendly staff. Undergoing renovations right now in pool area..

What I assumed were water pipes beating against the wall was actually the flagpole located on the roof of the building. The wind coming off of the ocean is very strong and causes the pole to beat against the wall that it’s next to. It was a constant thumping noise ALLLLL NIGHT LONG. We asked the front desk several times to please just lower the flag at night but they said they didn’t know how. We loved the area and the view from our room was great. It was hard to enjoy the trip with no rest. Just don’t stay in room 562!

We had to travel to RI for a wedding and we were fortunate enough to stay at Long Wharf. It's a beautiful place with a relaxing roof top, scenic views of the harbor, and an immaculately clean room. And the staff was warm, welcoming, and courteous. Can't wait until we can book another stay here.
