The full day food tour exceeded our expectations. Valentina, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant to be with. Maximo, the driver, was equally pleasant and a careful driver (it rained the entire tour).
This experience was a highlight of our month-long European trip. We learned so much about parmigiano regiano cheese, prosciutto du Parma, and balsamic vinegar. I highly recommend taking the tour, especially if you are a foodie.

My family and I recently had a private food tour with Riccardo in the region around Parma. We had a comfortable luxury mini-van with a driver and Riccardo as our guide. We visited a parmigiana dairy, prosciutto producer and balsamic producer in the country side.
Riccardo was a great guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and process to produce these food delicacies. He was also very personable making us feel like we were with a good friend all day.
It was very easy to arrange the tour and he was very flexible in accommodating our preferences and confirming with details and contact information.
I would highly recommend Riccardo as a guide for tours in the Emilia-Romagna region.

This tour was fantastic! The stops at cheese, prosciutto and balsamic artisans were wonderfully intimate and informative, food tastings were delicious, the lunch was lovely, and the tour guide (in our case Lisa) was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. Also learned a bit about the history of the region and the conditions that make it perfect for producing some of the best tasting food in Italy. One of the best food tours I have been on. Well worth the time and cost. Highly recommend to anyone who loves Northern Italian food and curious about where the best ingredients come from and what makes them so great.

This your was the highlight of our trip! The tour guide was engaging and passionate about his work answering all of questions with pride. We loved seeing all of cheese wheels! The tasting afterward was the best! Delicious! Outstanding experience!

My wife and I took a tour of Bologna with the wonderful Riccardo Soli as our tour guide. Riccardo took us across the city and eloquently punctuated each bite of delicious food with interesting facts and history about the area. Our afternoon with Ricardo, tasting all of the finest morsels the region had to offer, felt less like being shuffled along a corporate tour and more like a stroll with an old friend. If you are looking for a laid-back tour to help you learn about anywhere in and around the Emilia Romagna region, we cant recommend Riccardo and Emilia Romagna Tours enough.

We had a great experience in the Parma region and in Bologna with Emilia Romagna Tours. We wanted to visit local food producer and they constituted a great food tour. Our gide was great and has a lot of experience you really sense the motivation. The second day we visited Bologna and we had a mix between food and culture. Even a great plus our guide spoke French which was great for my son. I really recommend the agency if you want an authentic experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed our day in Emilia Romagna. We did a small private tour, just three of us with Richard and enjoyed the attention and all the information. My personal favorite thing was seeing how the parmesan was made. Lunch was great at the market in Modena and the explanation and tasting of the balsamic vinegar was also good. One of our favorite days in Bologna!
