Do not go to Italy! Our rental car was broken into near Milan at a metro parking garage and everything we had was stolen. We were left with the cloths we were wearing! Police would not even bother to come to the scene. They gave us an address to go to file a report,10 minutes away, when we go there we were told we had to go to the Milan police station, another half an hour away. We did. We were made to stand on the street for one hour before they took us in. We were there for 4 hours with disgusting toilet, no soap, no toilet paper, no sanitary liquids for hands. Plus indifference by the police and terrible attitude. Many tourists are being robbed and vacation turning into a nightmare. Tourists do not deserve this. Travel insurance is not even covering Italy! That should tell you something!

This is the place to go to plan out your trip to Italy. They carry tons of brochures on traveling through Italy, and the rest of Europe. You are able to buy train tickets and exchange money at this location. If you are not planning a trip to Italy, you could still stop by the tourist board. You could pick up very colorful, filled with beautiful pictures of Italy calendars. And other goodies. It is always fun to stop in. Check the business hours on the web.

Just went to the tourist office only to be told that they closed last week. Everything is online. I have visited the online site which has sketchy information at best. After reading the review from 2017 it appears that last week was really last year. Not having someone to help plan an itinerary and get maps leaves one with a bad taste. Not a great way to start a trip to Italy. Update your information. I came in from long island as wanted to finalize my 4 week trip this summer.

I went here in March 2017 looking for maps and tourist guides to Italy and was told that they went 'online' and no longer give them out.
