My first game experience at the swamp and it was everything I could of dreamed of. My Hurricanes came to play and beat gators but the fan interaction, food, atmosphere was incredible. Left the game with barely a voice. Never have I had to yell to the person next to me in order for them to hear me. The stadium itself was remarkable being how old it is you wouldn't of known due to how maintained everything was. I can't wait to experience another gators game and maybe this time I won't be on enemy lines.

We had a great time there! Make sure to have your walking shoes on if your seats are near the top 🙂 If your carrying a small bag make sure to check the measurements on the website first! Mine was an inch too big and I had to throw it away or walk it back a mile to my jeep. I understand the security measures, but I could have done what I seen a lot of people do and just hide it under my clothes because you don't get searched lol. Fortunately it wasn't an expensive bag! Otherwise it was a great experience. I loved that the concession stand lines were super quick, especially since it was a sold out game. I definitely plan on going back!

90,000 of your closest friends and all are singing "I won't back down". It's an electric environment. It's college kids but also families. The Swamp is beautiful but can be tricky to navigate. Know your seating and the best entry. Also be prepared to show your tickets the ushers. They do their best to keep things organized.

Although I’ve been here many times this visit held importance as my kids were here as well. I had the pleasure of visiting Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at the University of Florida in Gainesville with my family, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! This iconic stadium, affectionately known as "The Swamp," is not just a venue for college football games; it's a vibrant hub of school spirit, tradition, and excitement.

As my husband proudly shared stories of his time as a student here, it was bittersweet to watch our kids exploring his old stomping grounds. The atmosphere was electric, filled with passionate fans donning orange and blue, and the camaraderie among fellow Gators was palpable. It was heartwarming and memorable!

The game itself was thrilling! The Gators are known for their energetic plays, and witnessing it live is always the best! The highlight, however, was the marching band. Their performance was fantastic and truly set the tone for the day. The excitement they brought to the field, alongside the cheers of the crowd, made for an exhilarating atmosphere that our family will cherish forever.

I highly recommend bringing your family and friends to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium if you get the chance! Whether you're a lifelong Gators fan or just looking for a fun outing, this stadium offers a unique and memorable experience. From the enthralling game to the vibrant spirit of the fans, there’s nothing quite like it.

I have been here a few times. The stadium has die hard fans of all ages. The stadium is old, dirty, in need of many renovations. It is made of concrete and allows for no air flow, hence the name “the swamp”! The seats are small and if you are not in your BMI range you should buy two seats, so be prepared because you won’t all fit on the benches (it is very tight). Security is super strict about bag size and type. Bring a clear bag or wallet size. You can bring in a clear water bottle-nice only added bonus. Buy your tickets early for big name games and family weekend. Normal high prices on concessions, I recommend visiting a food truck before you come inside or eat and drink at home. If you get up to stretch or find a breeze, don’t plan on standing behind the fans- security will chase you off! Strict no standing policy! Good luck to whatever team you’re on! Watch out for the Gator Chomp ?

I grew up a Gator but this was my first game at BHG Stadium, and I came as a visiting fan (UCF).
I was here for the Garth Brooks concert 5-6 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed both events, minus the UCF loss.

Although it is an older stadium I enjoyed nearly everything about it. Those two things are the steepness of the 3rd level and bleacher seating.
One misstep and it could be disastrous.

Came to Gainesville for Miami Hurricanes game against the Gators. First time at this venue. Seen it on tv and heard about it. This is an old stadium with some nostalgia. Entrance was chaotic. Line through movable fences that were being moved as people skipped through line by moving fencing. Trash scattered throughout. College stadium that seems like an overgrown high school stadium. Needs updating and improvements.

The Swamp at night is tremendous. The fans are fully engaged the atmosphere is amazing. From snaps at every 3rd down (money down), to Tom Pettys Wong Back Down between 3rd and 4th quarter. Loved it. Also don't plan to sit, they sell you seats, but it's really a stand all game environment. Next time I will get 5 seats for the four of us as the bench seating space is so tight.
