Lots to offer tourists but not those travelling with dogs, probably the least dog friendly place I’ve ever been. We live in Edinburgh where you can take them everywhere.. had no idea it was so different here. Stayed in Port Stewart and and there is nowhere at all you can bring a dog , outside seating areas don’t count.
Derry had a total of three cafes and one restaurant for an evening meal.
It is obviously not the norm here but businesses are missing out on a lucrative market.. if your large premises has six people in it on a Thursday night why not trial an area where people can bring their dogs?

We have visited your office in the past and have been very pleased with the helpful ways of the staff. We enjoy visiting good friends in N.Ireland and we are very dismayed about the cancellation of direct-non stop flights from Newark N.J. Airport to Belfast. Are any efforts being made to arrange any alternate direct flights into Belfast? Please advise. Thank you. Mark & Cindy Harris.

Visited Spelga Dam on the bank holiday 1st May 2023. There were plenty of tourists there and the car park was packed to capacity.
The toilets were locked up !!!
Welcome to NI folks.

The Portstewart hospitality industry really does need to get its finger out. We have visited a number of establishments. Really poor quality service. Barely adequate hotel accommodation and totally underwhelming first impression. If you want to attract foreign visitors with any modicum of discernment this is not the way to do it. Sorry we came-- and I'm from Lurgan. Ian Montgomery

Completely useless organisation. Cant fund the biggest roadrace in Northern Ireland that brings in 1000's of TOURISTS and ££ into the local economy. Pure Disgrace!!

Have friends visiting for a few days and enjoyed playing tourists at home - disappointing that with all the new publicity it does not say that Titanic closed until March and yesterday at Portstewart Harry’s Shack closed even though website gives it as open every day from 10. Otherwise great time, food and accommodation.
